Re: If we had a vote......

Spot on. Over a season that would be a third of games where my seat would be charged at £50 a games so means I would have disappointed to lose £300. To me a lot of money. And when there's a manager that is so arrogant to accept failure and have sympathy for fans when away and home, I feel reason to voice opinion.

No

"The manager is basically sticking 2 fingers up at us by knowingly picking Nolan, playing Downing out wide, Noble and Nolan together and avoiding a Sakho, Valencia front 2, yet doing enough results-wise to keep his reputation in tact... "

Or his hand has been forced by internationals and injuries.

Roe I've only missed Hull away this season yes... why do you keep going back to who goes to more game, who cares?

Re: If we had a vote......
I keep mine because I'm sad like that...

The manager is basically sticking 2 fingers up at us by knowingly picking Nolan, playing Downing out wide, Noble and Nolan together and avoiding a Sakho, Valencia front 2, yet doing enough results-wise to keep his reputation in tact...

There is just a difference of opinion that you are happy for him to not give a shit about any of the fans as long as we are 'hard to beat' win a few and draw a few... that's fine and is your opinion, but mine is that it hasn't been the same since the Hull game when he cupped his ear...

So in reality Handwand you're happy with the performances in 2/3 of the home games this season.....

"When you go to an away game you get given a paper ticket by the home club which is ripped into 2 as you go through the turnstile"

Do you actually go to away games?

I said next season didn't I...read it properly, however:

Totteham (When they went down to 10men)

Yes Ticket Stubs... When you go to an away game you get given a paper ticket by the home club which is ripped into 2 as you go through the turnstile

Noun 1. ticket stub - a torn part of a ticket returned to the holder as a receipt

Re: If we had a vote......
Erm you said about what he shows towards the fans that travel around the country,

I'm one of those and it doesn't bother me one little bit.

As for Song, well I'm happy to believe what he says and not something you've made up in your head.

I'm in the 200 then. You all know this anyway.

Handball... spot on.

The results might be there playing this way over 38 games to finish top 9 or 10 but do you buy your season ticket for results or to be entertained?

Ticket stubs?

"If we continue with Sam wont he play his same old game plan...get to 0-0 at 70mins then start throwing corsses in to nick 1-0....because that's reality and that's what we can expect next season....our last season in the Boleyn...if so count me out"

Name the games at home this season he's done that in Handwand?

ih8robbiesavage 3:15 Thu Feb 19
Re: If we had a vote......
I don't go on stage any longer, I've got 'fatigue...'

I'm not questioning how many games you've been to this season, I don't really care... if you want me to send you ticket stubs then happy to.

You're probably right, Alex Song left Barcelona and a team of geniuses because he was convinced by Big Sam Allardyce to come and strengthen his neck muscles watching the ball go over his head for 90 minutes... definitely what happened... nothing to do with the owners selling a vision of the OS without the current manager

handball 3:13 Thu Feb 19
Re: If we had a vote......
Its our last season in the boleyn next season and the first in the OS the season after. The chairmen have stated that they want both seasons to be remembered, and so they should be.
How do they define as remembered...by surviving in a relegation battle or trying to strive for something, after all we have a great history at the club and that needs to be continued. Its been far too long since a winning cup final or a challenging for a championship (this i accept wont be happening). So i come to the following.

How does the Boleyn and its great memories want to be remembered...Surely by some wonderful goals, great players celebrating in claret and blue, in the papers for the good reasons etc. Every team next year that comes to West Ham is going to want to have a right go at us so there are going to be some fantastic games and we will have to have the right mind set to compete.

If we continue with Sam wont he play his same old game plan...get to 0-0 at 70mins then start throwing corsses in to nick 1-0....because that's reality and that's what we can expect next season....our last season in the Boleyn...if so count me out

" then if the suspicions are true, that the owners bought, Sakho, Song etc..."

Haha

You should be on the stage

Read Songs interview when he joined

Re: If we had a vote......
Also:

"but pretty much every manager worth their salt will tell you that football is about players more than managers."

If that's the case, then if the suspicions are true, that the owners bought, Sakho, Song etc... he should take no credit for anything this season as the fact is we have only won 2 games without Sakho (WBA and Hull) and haven't won a single game when either Sakho or Valencia haven't played.

whufcroe 3:06 Thu Feb 19
Re: If we had a vote......
" but the argument is whether it's the owners or the manager who you can attribute any success to."

I like to think the manager and board work together to bring in sucess

"We know for a fact he didn't want Sakho, that was proven by Sullivan."

No it wasn't. BFS would have rather the kid from Sunderland over Sakho but who can blame him? The shit he took over Maiga who played and scored goals at a higher level than Sakho. But whatever it was BFS how's played him.

"Any benefit of the doubt to that question is taken away by the lack of humility and pure arrogance he shows to the fans that travel around the country supporting the club."

Nobody has been to more game than I this season or since BFS took over and I'm in a pretty good position to say that as a fan that travels around the country supporting the club I couldn't give a toss about his last of humility or pure arrogance.
